AIT Charitable Giving
AIT believes in its community, and as a leading local business, has taken an active role in funding efforts that help improve Greater Fayetteville's economic vitality and, by extension, its quality of life. AIT has strict guidelines regarding its assistance of economic development and community improvement efforts. The company generally does not support narrowly-focused programs such as athletic teams, pageants, single-issue organizations, and others because donating one such group creates a precedent that AIT does not wish to establish.
AIT's corporate giving program takes on a few clearly-defined forms. Several of the company's officers are active on the boards of local non-profit organizations, cultural groups, and economic development agencies. AIT's belief is that good corporate citizenship means taking a role in shaping the desired outcome. The company also lends the use of its auditorium to specific groups for certain events that benefit the community as a whole. AIT also provides monetary assistance on a case-by-case basis, again to efforts that have wide-reaching implications.
While AIT obviously cannot support every request, we encourage you to use the form below in outlining the program or initiative you represent, the type contribution that is being sought, the desired outcome of the event or project, and what impact its success would have on the community at large. AIT takes its role as a corporate citizen seriously, and as a business, must also approach that role responsibly.
